Here’s how Joel Cruz handles talks about his children’s mother to them.
JOEL CRUZ – The perfume magnate Joel Cruz has shared that he once heard one of his children talked about their mother.
Through the in vitro fertilization, Joel Cruz became a father of 8 children – Sean and Synne (1st twins), Prince Harry and Prince Harvey (2nd twins), Charles and Charlotte (3rd twins), Zeid, and Ziv.
With all the processes included, consultations, and among other factor, Joel spent Php12-million to have a pair of twins.
In a report from PEP, the fragrance mogul shared that he once heard his son talk about “not having a mother because he is gay”. As much as everyone is probably aware of, all of his children were conceived through in vitro fertilization all by the same Russian mother.
Lilia, the mother of his children kept in touch with him and she is following his social media account. And his kids are yet to meet their mother – that’s what he is still preparing for himself for.
He shared, “Alam mo sa tamang time [ipapakilala ko rin], pero one time I heard my son said, ‘Because daddy is gay…’ Gumanun siya. Parang they were talking about mom, ‘We do not have mom because daddy is gay,’ gumanun siya.”
Joel just kept listening to his children but he already has in mind to tell his children about their mother in “due time”.
He added, “Kailangan ko talagang sabihin, kasi alam ng lahat ng tao kung anong buhay ko. So, unang-una, walang lihim ang hindi nabubunyag. I’ll tell everything sa mga anak ko.”
Moreover, he furthered that he will allow them to see their mother but with his guidance. He stated, “If they want to see their mom, that’s okay with me… Basta I have to guide them.”
