Jodi Sta. Maria and Jolo Revilla call it quits.
Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria confirmed that she and actor-turned-politician Jolo Revilla have already broken up. This was after months of speculations regarding the status of their relationship.
In an interview with “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, the “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” star admitted that they have already called it quits. Despite this, they remain good friends.
“No, we are no longer together, but we are friends,” she was quoted saying. Jodi Sta. Maria did not reveal more details about their split.
In February, there were rumors that the 34-year-old actress and re-elect Cavite Vice Governor have ended their relationship.
But earlier this June, Jodi Sta. Maria was spotted with Revilla at the opening of Cat Cafe in Las Piñas City. The owner of the cafe is Jolo’s half-brother Luigi Revilla.
In a previous interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Jodi Sta. Maria keep mum about the relationship and stressed that her son and family are the ones making her happy.
“Alam mo, I really can’t ask for anything more. I’m just so grateful with everything that God has blessed me with—Third and my family. So, parang just be grateful na lang. Gratitude is very important knowing that we don’t really deserve anything naman talaga,” she said.
