China’s willingness to help the Philippine administration in the campaign against illegal drugs was confirmed.

According to a report, the China is willing to cooperate with President Rodrigo Duterte in cracking down illegal drugs. The Chinese government gave their statement to an interview that it has been firm and severe in drug control and in punishing all drug criminals in accordance with laws regardless of their nationalities.
Beijing recognizes Duterte administration’s firm stance on eradicating the problem of drugs in the Philippines. Following that Duterte named the three Chinese drug lords in the Philippines— including Peter Co and Peter Lim operating in the country.
According to a report, Duterte said to confront China about the Chinese drug lords who are able to do drug trafficking operations in the Philippines. The China responded to the president by giving their willingness for effective cooperation in this regard, and would like to work out a specific plan of action with the Philippine side.
President Duterte, who intends to rid the country of drugs and crime within the first six months of his term, is now taking the whole world to cooperate with the Philippine government in its war against the illicit drug trade.
In a report, Chinese embassy in Manila issued a statement that drug problem is a shared responsibility of all countries in the world and they will cooperate and recognize the campaign.
