How does Dani Barretto treat her aunt Gretchen Barretto?
Dani Barretto revealed her side on the issue between her mother Marjorie Barretto and her aunt Gretchen Barretto.
One of the most prominent families in Philippine show business is the Barretto clan. Many of their members are actresses including sisters Gretchen Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, and Claudine Barretto.
Currently, Marjorie’s second daughter Julia Barretto is also making a name in the showbiz industry. Julia’s father is comedian Dennis Padilla.
Being one of the most prominent families in showbiz, it is no secret to the public that sisters Marjorie and Gretchen are not in good terms. They had an issue which has not yet been fixed until now.
Gretchen Barretto is now living with her partner Tonyboy Cojuangco, a businessman. They have a grown-up daughter named Dominique based on a report.
Marjorie is devoting her time as a mother to her four children: her daughter with Kier Legaspi, Dani Barretto, and her children with former husband Dennis Padilla, Julia, Claudia, and Leon.
Meanwhile, despite the issue between their celebrity mothers, Dani Barretto and Dominique Cojuangco have remained close to each other. They grew up together and they managed to keep the bond despite some family issues.
Based on a recent report in Pep, in an interview with the source at the premiere night of Meet Me In St. Gallen, Dani Barretto revealed her side on the issue between her mother and her aunt.
According to her, she would rather stay “neutral” about it as she does not want to hurt her aunt and, most especially, neither her mother.
She expressed that she still see Gretchen on social media and she still watch her story on Instagram. The younger Barretto also assured that she would still greet her aunt when they would cross paths.
“We never fought. Walang reason para hindi siya batiin. At the end of the day, tita ko pa rin yun,” she said.
Based on the report, with regards to reconciliation talks between Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto, Dani Barretto expressed that only her mother and her aunt can answer it.
According to her, she, Julia, Claudia, and Dominique have something to be busy about in their lives and they don’t anymore ask questions regarding the matter.
“If it happens, it happens… It’s only them na makakasagot kasi sa napi-feel nila yun, e, so hindi ko alam,” she said.
