Remember Former Beauty Queen, Actress Mutya Crisostomo? Here Is Her Life Now

Mutya Crisostomo is living a life now far different from her engagements in showbiz before as an actress and beauty queen.

Mutya Crisostomo is the daughter of Pinoy movie icon Tony Ferrer and 1970 Mutya ng Pilipinas Alice Crisostomo.

She started in showbiz at a young age when she was included in the first batch of ‘That’s Entertianment’, together with Sheryl Cruz, Jean Garcia, Tina Paner, Donita Rose, Manilyn Reynes and Lotlot De Leon.

She was just 14 when she decided to enter the industry for the reason that she wanted to help her mother financially after her parents separated.

After six years of doing TV shows and movies, Mutya came up to the decision to leave the industry but it opened a new career opportunity for her.

She eventually followed her mother’s footstep in beauty pageant and the Mutya ng Pilipinas 1990 crown landed on her head.

The former actress was also hailed as Miss Asia Pacific 1992 second runner-up.

In 2008, she met the love of her life in a serendipity sort of situation. Mutya was planning to get her condo unit renovated that time and saw the artworks of Genesis “Jinggoy” Buensuceso, a metal sculptor and their love story started there.

They got married in 2010 at the Botanic Garden in Singapore. She gave birth to their first child on the same year.

Now, the former beauty queen is successful in the corporate world as a country manager at Luxasia Philippines from the year 2012 up to the present.

On her Instagram account, Mutya Crisostomo often featured the work of art of her beloved husband.
