Sarah Geronimo’s “Emptiness” Also Felt By Vice Ganda

Vice Ganda shared that he also felt the emptiness that Sarah Geronimo experienced and revealed during her concert in Las Vegas.

The ‘This 15 Me’ concert of pop star Sarah Geronimo in Las Vegas created a loud bang not only because of her amazing performances but because of an expected breakdown she had on stage.

Sarah cried in front of her audience as she revealed that after all the success in her singing and acting career as well, she still feels a certain kind of emptiness.

In line with this, many netizens and fellow celebrities of the pop star expressed their thoughts about it and one of them is ‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda.

The comedian related that he also felt the emptiness that Sarah felt despite of the stardom they have.

Based on the article published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Vice said that, “I felt I was empty. Sabi ko, ‘Bakit gano’n? Ang dami kong pera, blockbuster ang mga pelikula ko, hit ang mga shows ko pero bakit hindi ako masaya?’”

Due to that, the comedian said that it affected him very much and he had to seek the help of a doctor in order to address his situation.

“Hindi ako nakakatulog, nagkakaroon ako ng anxiety attack. May mga atake sa akin na nahihirapan akong magtrabaho. I even thought of leaving muna. Nagpaalam na nga ako sa management. Tinanong ko, baka pwedeng hindi na ako mag-film fest? Pwede bang magbawas ako ng show? Naging gano’n ako,” Vice Ganda added.

On that note, the option of leaving the show business entered his mind.

On the other hand, he was enlightened when he was able to talk to OPM icons and couple Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez.

He now understands that the emptiness he felt like what Sarah Geronimo experienced is just part of the bigger picture.

Vice said that as a celebrity they have a purpose and it comes with obligation.

“Everyday naka-mind set ako na I have to be happy. I embrace my happiness and my blessings and I serve my purpose everyday,” he said, based on the source.
