Atom Araullo ignores the statement of Mike De Leon against him saying, “He disappointed me as a person”.
Everyone was shocked when ‘Citizen Jake’ director Mike De Leon expressed his disappointment to Atom Araullo, the lead actor of the movie.
According to the prominent movie director, the journalist disappointed him not as an actor but as a person.
He also said things against the profession of Atom as a political journalist and his views about politics.
Direk Mike stated this at the same time that the movie was released and there were some who thought it was just for the promotion of the film.
On the other hand, the lengthy statement he posted on the Facebook Page of ‘Citizen Jake’ created a negative vibe.
Based on the article published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Atom Araullo is just ignoring what the director ranted against him.
He does not want to talk about the statement of Direk Mike attacking his person.
Despite the said issue, the journalist did not ignore his responsibility as an actor to promote his own movie.
In line with Atom’s will to promote the movie, he was set to be the guest of Karen Davila in ‘Headstart’, in the network where he worked previously.
His home network now, GMA, has already agreed about it, however, Direk Mike had a condition which made the said interview impossible anymore.

According to a report, the director wanted Atom to talk about the conflict that happened between them in the said program in ABS-CBN News Channel.
With that, the journalist disagreed and just let the rant of the director pass his attention.
It was also said that the family of Atom Araullo also advised him to just ignore the issue.
