“Aware naman kami doon kasi siyempre hindi mo naman ine-expect na brand new lahat, but we don’t discriminate,” she said, based on the article published in PEP.

She added that ‘The Clash’ is different from other singing contests she hosted because it has no age limit. Anyone can join from 16 years old and up.

“So hindi kami nag-discriminate against age, against yung estado, yung itsura, kahit ano ka basta magaling ka kumanta,” the Asia’s Songbird added.

Their main goal is to find the best singers in the Philippines who are not yet famous.

Those contestants that came from the reality shows of ABS-CBN are Jasmine Fitzgerald, Fatima Espiritu and Bryan Chong.

Fitzgerald joined the Season 2 of ‘Star In A Million’ back in 2014 while Espiritu and Chong both joined the ‘The Voice Teens’ in 2017.

The three of them are now part of the newest singing competition in GMA and they go through under Lani Misalucha, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Christian Bautista as the judges.

The show is set to premiere this Saturday, July 7and Sunday, July 8.

Regarding the final 63 contestants, Regine Velasquez commented that they are all good but they need not to compete with each other.

It is because the Pinay diva said that each contestants should beat themselves, based on the article.

“Lahat naman sila obviously, they’re all good. They wouldn’t be here, hindi nila mapapasa yung audition to begin with, so ang kalaban mo yung sarili mo, e,” the Kapuso singer stressed out.
