Jed Madela expressed his rage regarding the stolen luggage of Filipino delegates for WCOPA at NAIA

Kapamilya singer Jed Madela took to Twitter his complaint regarding the stolen luggage of Filipino delegates for World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Jed, who is a WCOPA Hall of Famer serves as the coach of the participants of this year’s international competition.

As usual, the Team Philippines brought home awards from various categories but there was one unexpected incident that happened when they arrived at the airport.

Based on the recent Twitter post of the Kapamilya singer, the luggage of some of the delegates were stolen.

The ‘pasalubongs’ that the delegates brought for their families were taken from their luggage.

The singer condemned the act of stealing as the kids saved their money in order have something to take home for their love ones.

Jed wondered why the thief had to do that.

His most recent tweet about this issue served as a warning to the culprit who stole from the WCOPA delegates.

Netizens who commented on his series of tweets also condemned what happened to the young performers.

Despite of that untoward incident, the delegates of this year’s WCOPA celebrated for their triumph.

Based on the report of ABS-CBN, the Team Philippines brought home almost 286 plaques and medals from the said international competition.

Aljun Cayawan, the Prince of the Manubo Tribe of Agusan del Sur is the grand champion in singing and modeling competitions.

Cayawan said that he wants to encourage those who belong in other tribes in the Philippines to showcase their talents.

Jed Madela admitted that this year’s competition is tougher than the previous years.

“Kasi talagang pinaghandaan, pinaghandaan tayo ng mga ibang bansa,” he said, based on the report.

WCOPA Philippines National Director Gerry Mercado said that the delegates were really out there to promote the country.
