Nanay Rosario of Vice Ganda reacts to his rumored relationship with Calvin Abueva
The mother of Vice Ganda reacted to his rumored love affair with basketball player Calvin Abueva.
It has been rumored for several weeks now that there is something romantic going on between Vice and Calvin.
However, both them said that they are really close to each other. The fact that they had been spotted being together in public places several times now added fire to the speculations.
In line with this, the mother of the It’s Showtime host expressed her reaction.
Rosario Viceral guested on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay and she said that she has already met Calvin, based on PEP’s report.
“May lunch kami, ‘tapos nung nandodoon na ako, sabi niya [Vice], ‘Nay, may bisita ako, ha!’ ‘Okay lang, ‘nak,’ sabi ko. So yun, dumating sila, ipinakilala niya ako.That’s it. I met them,” the mother of the comedian said.
She also said that she has an idea about the rumors linking her son to the PBA player.
Vice-Calvin rumored relationship
Nanay Rosario knew about the rumor as she has noticed the teasing happening in It’s Showtime.
So, tinanong ko yung apo kong babae, ‘Anak, ano yun?’ sabi kong ganun. ‘Eto, ipakikita ko sa ‘yo, ‘Nay,’” she shared.
When asked about her first impression to the friend of her son, she said that she has nothing much to say.
“Kasi bisita nga siya ni Tutoy [palayaw ni Vice], ayoko namang tititigan ko sila na ano…Basta nagkatinginan lang kami nung ipinakilala niya sa ‘kin. That’s it,” Nanay Rosario said.

The mother of Vice Ganda also reacted to the closeness he has with Calvin Abueva.
For Nanay Rosario, it is nice that they both enjoy each other’s company.
When it comes to a possible romantic relationship, she said that she will welcome and accept them.
“Kung saan sila masaya, masaya na rin ako,” Vice’s mother said, based on the report.
