Kris Aquino on Kidnap Plot: ‘I’m really not in any position to say more.’
The Queen of all Media and Presidential sister Kris Aquino may have pleaded to give herself a break from stress but it seemed that she could not escape from controversial especially with the latest trending issue pointing her to the use of chopper.
Earlier, President Benigno Aquino III himself revealed that Abu Sayyaf plotted to kidnap Kris and Saranggani Representative Manny Pacquiao or any of his kids.
However cornered by media, Kris refused to talk more about the alleged plot saying she is not in the position to say more regarding what the president revealed.
Kris in the previous interview said that she will keep mum on whatever issue she is facing to focus on her health and her sons Joshua and Bimby.
In a text message, Kris said she doesn’t want to add more on the issue regarding the alleged plot of the Abu Sayyaf to avoid making herself the target of pressure and stress.
“All things are temporary, but getting through the tough times unscathed and with faith and dignity intact is really one of life’s challenges that I just need to hurdle. I hope you understand that I’m really not in any position to say more.” she said.
Kris revealed that her blood pressure was elevated again and as much as possible she don’t want to add any information because she just don’t want to continue making herself a target.
Kris did not renew her contract with ABS-CBN deciding to take hiatus from showbiz for health reasons.
She was earlier lambasted by netizens for allegedly using the presidential chopper in campaign for Liberal Party to which the Malacanang defended her as have right to be the passenger because she is the presidential sister.
