The controversial video of former APO Hiking Society member Jim Paredes received a reaction from Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano.
Jim is currently on the hot seat as his “scandal video” circulated on social media.
Many criticized him but there are also several people, especially his fellow celebrities who expressed their support for him.
Amid this trying times for the veteran singer and his family, Gary Valenciano was asked to react.
Based on the article published on the site of Pang-Masa, the singer-dancer was saddened for what happened.

“As an OPM singer, siyempre, malungkot ako sa nangyari sa kanya, but kung walang mga katulad ko ngayon na can tell him that “I’m still here for you and your family”, sino pa?” Gary said.
Mr. Pure Energy also said that if this kind of situation will happen to him, he would go to a person who would tell him, “Let’s go through this together”.
“I don’t know kung paano siya makaka-recover dito, but those are the things na hard realizations. But I know that with me kasi, if God has given me chances before, what can’t I do the same for somebody like Jim Paredes who has touched many lives with the songs that he has written also. But he is not perfect,” the Kapamilya talent added.

When asked if he was shocked to know about the controversial video of Jim Paredes, Gary Valenciano said that anyone could have the same reaction.
Amid this controversy, Gary shared what he will do when he sees Jim.
“I would like to sit with him and just talk to him, maybe give him a hug and not only him but his family as well,” he said, based on the article.
