Elizabeth II Recently Celebrated Her 90 Beautiful Years, So Here Is A Quick Review Of Her Life

Elizabeth II just celebrated her 90th birthday and here is a wonderful video of her and her family, a tribute to the longest-reigning queen in British history.

The longest reigning queen in history marks her 90th birthday last April 21st, and BBC just uploaded a video about her, her life as a child, a simple princess, and becoming the queen.
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, also known as “Lilibeth” when she was young, born on April 21, 1926. She was the first child of Prince Albert and his wife, Elizabeth – the Queen Mother.
As you can see in the picture below, Princess Lily is fond with dogs. Here are two of the four Corgis they’ve had during the time.

Her father, Prince Albert, ascended to the throne when his brother King Edward VIII was abdicated in 1936 – she then became the heiress of the throne.
At age 25,  she became head of of the whole U.K, becoming the Royal Queen after her father’s d3ath in 1952.

When asked what royal name she would use, the young queen quickly replied, “Elizabeth, of course!”.
Westminster Abbey has traditionally been the venue of coronation. On June 2, 1953, Princess Elizabeth was crowned as Queen Elizabeth II.
The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Geoffrey Fisher, Archbishop of Canterbury.

Queen Elizabeth has a signature look – a pastel-colored dress or suit, a hat matching the color, pumps, gloves, and a stylish handbag with accessories on it.
She also love pearl necklaces and brooch. Norman Hartnell, most notable couturier, made the wedding gown and coronation dress of the beloved queen.
On the other hand, Hardy Amies, the Savile Row tailor is the one who makes her day wardrobe dresses for decades.
Prince Phillip has always been a supportive and understanding husband to the royal queen, accompanying her on public engagements in all parts of the United Kingdom, and Commonwealth tours and states visits.
They were inseparable despite the queen’s responsibility to the country, traveling together all around the world.
