Balilo Confirms Deployment Of Philippine Vessels In Panatag Shoal

PCG spokesman Commander Armand Balilo confirmed that Philippine ships will be deployed in Panatag Shoal.

BALILO – The spokesman commander of Philippine Coast Guards, Armand Balilo, confirmed the resuming of the deployment of Philippine vessels in Panatag Shoal.

Despite the fact that the Chinese government has not yet fully honored the verdict of Arbitral Tribunal as it sided on the Philippines as the owner of the disputed island, situations in Panatag Shoal are undeniably getting warmer.

Panatag Shoal, also known locally as Bajo de Masinloc and internationally as Scarborough Shoal, has long been the subject of the territorial dispute between China and the Philippines.
