ABS-CBN – The first Choose Philippines Awards of ABS-CBN Travel Website chose The Ruins in Talisay City as the Best Heritage Site.

Philippines is undeniably a home to many splendid and jaw-dropping tourist attractions. In any province or city that you will visit, you will surely find something unique and worth-coming-back in the place.

One of the provinces that has undeniably been discovered is the province of Negros Occidental. Recently, a lot of film taping were shoot in the cities of the province which is a home to a lot of great attractions.

One of the most recent films shoot in Negros is the Everyday I Love You directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and starred by Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, and Gerald Anderson. Some scenes were taken in Silay City.

There were also scenes taken in Talisay City’s The Ruins which has recently been named as the Best Heritage Site.

Based on a recent post in the Facebook page of The Visayan Daily Star, the first Choose Philippines Awards of ABS-CBN’s Travel Website chose The Ruins as the Best Heritage Site. Last night, an awarding ceremony was held at the Dolphy Theatre of ABS-CBN according to the post.

The post further entailed in its caption that ABS-CBN goals to recognize the best offerings of the country when it comes to tourism as stated in its official Twitter feed.

Several trophies were won by Cebu as Plantation Bay Resort and Spa named as The Best Accommodation for Solo Travelers, Kawasan Falls named as the Best Water Form, and Sinulog as the Best Festival.

Furthermore, it stated that a panel of travel bloggers and experts in the industry drawn the shortlist among the nominated sites by the netizens from the Philippines.
