Mocha Uson Says Something Regarding Support Shown By De Lima To Her

Mocha Uson reacted on the support shown by Sen. De Lima to her.

MOCHA USON – Entertainer-turned-blogger Mocha Uson reacted on the support shown by Senator Leila De Lima with regards to her appointment in the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

It was just recently when Mocha Uson was appointed as the assistant secretary for social media. Her new post sparked news reports and elicited various reactions.

Based on a previous news report, detained Sen. De Lima is one of those who expressed her side over Uson’s appointment. She encouraged the critics of Mocha Uson to judge her not based on her past but on how she would perform in her new post.

The lady Senator even expressed her hope that Mocha would be the “purveyor of truth”. She stressed that she is not anymore a private blogger but a “civil servant”.

Recently, the entertainer-turned-blogger has reacted on the support shown by the vocal Duterte critic to her.

Based on a report in GMA News, Mocha said that just like the netizens, she was also surprised by the reaction of the lady Senator towards her appointment.

“Pero on a serious note, nagpapasalamat po ako sa kanyang pagtatanggol,” the entertainer-turned-blogger said.

Aside from showing her gratitude to the lady Senator who is currently detained in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Mocha also gave an advice to her.

She told Leila that only the truth can set her free so it is better if she would admit her mistakes.

“Yun lang po ang magbibigay sa atin ng kapayapaan,” she said based on the report.

Mocha shared the scope of her job in her new post. According to her, she is tasked to explain the good works of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The vocal Duterte supporter expressed that she supports the President as he knows what is good for the country.

Based on the report, she expressed that supports all the policies of the Chief Executive except for his stand on the impeachment issue of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
