Dingdong Dantes admitted to the media that he is against the decision of the Supreme Court for the burial of Former President Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The actor shared that he was greatly disappointed when the Supreme Court voted in favor for the burial of Marcos.

Kapuso actor expressed his side on the interment of the late dictator and President Ferdinand Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani (LBNM).

He is hoping that the Supreme Court’s Decision will change.

According to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed with Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes after the PEPtalk shoot last Thursday, November 10, he said that he is against the burial of President Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani.

During the interview, the veteran actor said that the Former President Marcos is not a hero.

He also clarifies that the decision of the Supreme court serves as a wake-up call for all the Filipinos, especially to the youth, to revisit our values.

“But it’s something that decide and if it is law, nothing we can do now.”

Dingdong urged others who are against the Supreme Court’s decision that it is not the endgame.

“In fact, more important now expand our understanding of history, right?”

“Let us make him ineffective. And in our hand now as more people show concern for people, especially fellow Filipinos.” he added.

He also said that Filipinos should not repeat the errors brought by the past.

The 36-year-old Kapuso star elaborated, “While we respect the SC decision, this should also serve as a wake-up call for all of us, especially our youth, to revisit kung ano ba talaga ang mga values natin.”

Following the Supreme Court’s decision to approve the burial of former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, many Filipinos were greatly dismayed to the decision.
