Mike Pence was reported unhurt after his campaign plane skidded off a runway, some critics call it a bad Omen for Trump’s race to the White House.
The campaign plane of Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence skidded off the runway as it landed at La Guardia Airport in New York on Thursday night.
The plane, a Boeing 737-700, was chartered from Eastern Airlines that was painted with the campaign’s logo, fishtailed as it touched down and slid off the runway before coming to a very sharp stop in the grass off the side of the runway.
The press poll who were sated at the back of the aircraft felt the whole incident of the wagging of the tail of the plane.
Luckily, there were no reported injuries in the rough landing. The nonstop rains which poured on Thursday evening are said to have caused the plane to skid off the runway.
After the incident, Pence was seen speaker with emergency responders.
