2 Male Nurses Allegedly Charged With Direct Assault In Kidapawan City

With the tragic event happened in Kipadawan just recently, two male nurses were charged with ‘direct assault’ for bringing medicines to farmers in need of medical attention at the Spotswood Methodist Center.

As seen in the video below, the male nurses were riding a motorcycle when suddenly deployed soldier in the area questioned them for bringing bags of medicines, which are intended for the farmers.

The video was uploaded by Abner Francisco on Facebook and is now making rounds online, collecting negative comments from the netizens.

As you can see in the video, the soldiers order the two nurses to board the military vehicle. Later, the nurses were charged with direct assault together with other individuals, according to Francisco on his post.

Francisco is living in Kidapawan City and is working at DXCA Charm Radio. It was not clear when the incident really occurred but the video was uploaded on April 6.

Notre Dame of Kidapawan College President Brother Manny De Leon said that he was given the assurance of the peaceful and withdrawal of government forces in the said area surrounding the church where the farmers holed up.
