The heated confrontations among the Vice Presidential aspirants for the 2016 May Elections made the #PiliPinas2016 a talk of the town not just over the cups of coffee but also in the social media especially how Leni Robredo edges opponents.

But of all the reactions the netizens poured out regarding the Vice Presidential debates, who did they choose as the overall winner?

Administration’s bet Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo emerged as the winner of the vice presidential debate for the netizens edging Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.

In the conducted online poll, Robredo led against Cayetano with 41.58 of the total votes. In the previous rounds of the Rappler poll, Cayetano topped but in the end landed with 36.25 percent of the total votes.

In the previous standings, Robredo just stayed behind Cayetano however must have swayed the netizens with her closing statement ending “Sa amin pong anim, may the best woman win!”

She started:

Robredo noted how she started as a VP candidate telling that almost no one knew her but was proud telling that now is a different story as she is rising in the surveys.

“I am a mother and I will never abandon my children, I will not abandon the country. I believe that in the end, what is right will always prevail.” she said.

Senator Ferdinan Marcos Jr. who recently topped the survey, landed third in the debate poll followed by Sen. Francis Escudero.
