Rappler Found Support From Opposition Senators Amid Crisis

Here are the Senators who expressed their support to Rappler in the midst of crisis it’s encountering now

Social news website Rappler has the support of several Senators from opposition in the midst of the crisis it is experiencing right now.

Following the revocation of its license by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the news website faced the dilemma of a possible operation termination.

Behind the current crisis it is facing at the moment, Rappler found shoulders to lean on in the persons of Senators from the minority bloc.

Based on the report of Pinoy Trending, Senators Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino, Franklin Drilon, Francis Pangilinan and Leila De Lima expressed their support for the news website.

Sen. Hontiveros criticized the government because of its decision to revoke the license of the social news website and for her it is a form of harassment.
