Labor Day Rallyists Garnered Criticisms From Netizens For Garbage Left After Rally

Netizens criticized the Mendiola rallyists during the Labor Day celebration for the garbage they left after they conducted their protest.

The rallyists during the celebration of Labor Day on May 1 received criticisms from netizens for the garbage they left at Mendiola after they conducted their protest against the present administration.

Netizens expressed their negative comments upon seeing after-rally photos on social media.

On the Facebook post of UNTV News and Rescue reporter Mon Jocson, it showed that garbage scattered on the streets of Mendiola.

Several social media users lambasted the rallyists for not minding the situation after they held their Labor Day rally.

Facebook user ‘Diks Malvaroza’ said that this kind of sight after rally is a trademark of Mendiola protesters. According to him, as he grew up in the said area, he knows that situation. He even called the rallyists as “salot at perwisyo ng bayan”.

With irony, Facebook user ‘Reagan Fajardo’ said that the protesters are expressing anger to the government but the government will be the one who will clean up their mess after rally.

Another netizen in the person of Facebook user ‘Romeo G. Maglunsod’ criticized them for demanding the administration to change but those who conducted the rally could not start a change within themselves.

Facebook user ‘Elora Espano’ said that she is with the sentiments of the protesters but seeing the garbage is disgusting for her.

Several netizens stressed out that those who were at the rally are just paid rallyists, just like Facebook user ‘Nino Jumao-as Caturza’ and Facebook user ‘Kenneth Escala’.

Some netizens just express their nonconformity to the garbage at Mendiola after rally through jokes.
