Real Reason Why Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana Was Hospitalized
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana revealed the real reason why he is now hospitalized at the Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Undeniably, one of the health risks during the summer season in the Philippines is cardiac arrest. A lot of people experienced it with the intense heat as part of the leading causes. That is why a lot of individuals were left concerned when rumors that the Philippines’ Defense Secretary suffered from the said health condition.
The 36th Secretary of the National Defense of the Philippines is Major General Delfin Negrillo Lorenzana. He is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy’s class “Maagap”.
Recently, the Defense Secretary broke his silence on the rumors that he had a cardiac arrest.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana confirmed that he is currently hospitalized at the Veterans Memorial Hospital but there is no truth to the rumors regarding the reason why he is confined.
According to the Defense Secretary, the rumors are “exaggeration” and he is in the hospital due to fatigue that is related to stress.
Lorenza shared that he initially came to the Veterans Memorial Hospital for some eye check up. A full check up was done to me and it was found out that his fatigue is stress-related. He is currently going through “executive check up” and a series of laboratory tests are conducted to him.
Based on the report, the 70-year-old Defense Secretary expressed through a text message that he will be out from the hospital in a day or two. He is keen on the advice of the doctor to him to get a proper rest considering his age.
“Gusto ko na ngang umuwi,” he admitted.
