EDDIE GARCIA – Lilibeth Romero’s sister Luchie Chanco revealed to Inquirer’s Dolly Anne Carvajal what Eddie Garcia wants if he dies.

Veteran actor Eddie Garcia is fighting for his life now following an accident on the set on June 8 (Saturday). The Rosang Agimat actor seemingly tripped on a cable wire during a taping.

Eddie fell on the ground and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was left in a very critical condition and in the state of comatose.

Eddie Garcia is currently hospitalized in Makati Medical Center. He was diagnosed with severe cervical fracture causing his condition to be critical. His family has already agreed for a do-not-resuscitate (DNR) order.

Amid Eddie Garcia’s fight for his life now, Dolly Anne Carvajal of Inquirer recalled her previous interview with the veteran actor and his long-time partner, Lilibeth Romero.

Based on a report, Eddie and Lilibeth welcomed Dolly in their home and even gave her a birthday gift after their interview. A snack was also prepared for the journalist.

According to Dolly, Luchie Chanco, her friend and also the sister of Lilibeth, revealed that Eddie Garcia is not into having a wake if he dies. He wants to be cremated and his ashed be scattered over Manila Bay.

“Eddie always says, if he dies, he wants to be cremated on the same day. No wake, no viewing. He wants his ashes to be scattered over Manila Bay. No goodbyes. People will just notice that he is not around anymore,” she said.

Based on the report, Luchie also described the veteran actor as “very kind, humble and a good-natured gentlemen”. According to her, his eyes are always on the positive side and he is not aware of his being a “big actor”.

In her article, Dolly Anne Carvajal encourages the public to continue praying for Eddie Garcia. She stressed that the veteran actor can never be replaced in showbiz and his passion has not die down at all.
