Motorist assaulted one of the MMDA traffic aide in the street last Saturday, August 11.
Motorist assaulted the traffic aide because he was accused by a traffic violation. The traffic was being hit and slap by the motorist by his cap but he appeared calm during the incident.
MMDA traffic constable Saturnino “Sonny” Fabros is a father to six daughters and a widower. According to an interview, his wife died in 2010 so he is in need to work for his family.
His eldest daughter is just 18-year-old and none one will help him in supporting his family. Despite of what had happened to him Fabros would like to continue working because his family needed him.
He was being harassed and slap by a motorist last Saturday August 11. In the footage it was identified that the motorist in the video who harassed fabros was Robert Blair Carabuena.
Carabuena was seen hitting and slapping fabros with his cap in the face. The enforcer remained calm and appeared listening to Carabuena.
Fabros filed the case of Direct Assault to Carabuena to ensure that it will not happen again. And it will serve as a lesson for all.
Fabros case caught the heart of the media. Yves Gonzalez, the head of MMDA’s traffic discipline office, was impressed by the attitude of fabros while on duty. He offers a promotion to fabros because he found out that he is already 27 years in the service and he earned it.
