Comelec’s Latest Partial & Official Election Result Not Includes Ex-Sen. Bong Revilla in Top 12

BONG REVILLA – Former Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. is not included in the Top 12 of the latest partial and official Election 2019 result released by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The fight continues for several senatorial candidates of the midterm Election 2019 held on May 13. While the counting of votes for several local elections is already done, the canvassing for the national elections go on and the public is eager to know who will really make it to the House of Senate.

There are twelve(12) Senate seats that are up for grabs. A total of sixty-two (62) candidates are vying for the said seats including senators whose term is about to end, former senators, and as well as aspiring political newbies.

One of the former senators who is fighting for a comeback in the House of Senate is former Sen. Bong Revilla. In the partial and unofficial results previously released, his name is in to the Top 12 of the Election 2019 senatorial race.

Undeniably, Revilla’s inclusion to the Top 12 in the partial and unofficial result became the talk of the town. There are people who support it while there are those who are against it. Many are undeniably against it due to the alleged involvement of the former Senator in the Pork Barrel Scam.

Recently, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) released the partial and official result. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, in the said result, former Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. is among those who are vying for the last spot alongside with Sen. JV Ejercito and Sen. Bam Aquino.

There is a little gap between the number of votes for the said senators. Currently, Revilla and Ejercito are out from the Top 12 and Aquino is in. The latest partial result is from the 64% of votes tallied as of Thursday night. Out of 167 certificates of canvass, 60 COCs have yet to be tallied.
