Pacquiao, ’50-50′ On Staying Retiree

After his statements about retirement, Manny Pacquiao said that he is “50-50” of being a retiree.

In an article on Rappler, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao said in a statement that “his heart is “50-50”” by staying as a retiree.

Manny Pacquiao managed to win in a spectacular fashion against Timothy Bradley last April 9, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Pacquiao scored two knockdowns and won via a unanimous decision scoring 116-110 in favor of the Filipino boxing icon.

The current two-time Saranggani representative, already announced in past reports that the Pacquiao-Bradley 3 would his last and final boxing match. This ends his colorful and outstanding 21-year career as a boxer.

He said that he’ll be focusing on his family and his political career. Pacquiao is currently running for senator in the Philippines.

This Manny’s statement as quoted in the article:

“My heart is 50-50. But I love my family, I honor my family, my kids. Right now, my decision is to retire. Let me enjoy first a retired life,” Pacquiao said.

“I’m not there yet, so I don’t know what it feels like. But I made a commitment to my family. I made my decision,” added.

But people around Pacquiao have been expressing how the Pacman should not retire like his American rival, Timothy Bradley, and his head trainer, Coach Freddie Roach.

The world is still hoping for the comeback of the Filipino boxing hero.

Pacquiao ended his career with 58 wins, 6 losses, 2 draws, and includes 38 knockouts.

Will Manny Pacquiao comeback after retiring?

Will it still be as electrifying as before if ever?
