Meet the lucky ice cream vendor who received blessings through Manny Pacquiao
Senator Manny Pacquiao became a blessing to an ice cream vendor as he generously gave him a house and lot.
Marcelino Entia did not expect last May 27 that he will be blessed through the kind heart of the boxing champ.
It can be recalled in a previous article that the video of the said incident from netizen Jen Manilay, who works for Manny, went viral.
Many netizens, felt happy for the ice cream vendor as he received cash, a new job and house and lot from Pacman.
Mang Lino is a now 64 years old and he worked as a tricycle driver before during the day and as a security guard at night time.
However, he had a mild stroke back in 2009 and because of that, his wife Ruby Entia, was the one who worked for the financial needs of their family.
When Mang Lino was able to get better, he cleaned bottles of water to earn even just a small amount of money.
In 2011, they rented a house in General Santos and they paid P500 monthly. On the other hand, they did not get the comfort a real house could offer.
Their roof cannot protect them from rain and there was no furniture inside their house.
With that situation in life, Mang Lino prayed that their would be someone who would help them.
He was able to work as an ice cream vendor but his income from it was still not enough for them. Even his maintenance medicine was compromised.
And then, a blessing came. Manny said that when he saw Mang Lino he suddenly felt pity for him. That urged him to help the old man.
The ice cream vendor now has a new house for his family. Aside from that, Pacman said that he will put up a sari-sari store for Mang Lino as additional source of income.
The lucky old man also has a new job which is much easier than beating the scorching heat of the sun.
