A dedicated teacher and her students captured the hearts of many netizens for still having their class during the high tide.

Netizens were touched how the educator and the young learners showed the importance they give to education.

Netizen ‘Aurelia De Guzman’ shared on her Facebook account the photos of the dedicated teacher along with her students.

De Guzman said in a reply to a comment that the high tide brought the water in the classroom.

They were having a class despite that their feet were soaked in the water.

It can also be seen in one photo that the students were still attentive to their teacher during the class.

With this, several netizens expressed their admiration to the dedication of the teacher, as well as the students in the midst of a not so convenient situation.

Netizen ‘Virgilio Laggui’ said that it was “passion” while Facebook user ‘Rox Ladera’ commented that she salutes the dedicated teacher.

There were some netizens who worried about the safety of the students.

Facebook user ‘Liberty Marcelo Alcala’ said that the students and the teacher might have leptospirosis due to the water. Some netizens also felt the same concern for their health.

Several others hoped that the local government would notice the effort of the teacher to teach and of the students to learn.

Some suggested that they should be provided with boots so that their feet will not be soaked in water during their class.

On the other hand, there are some netizens who commented that it is not worthy to  sacrifice the safety of the students for that situation.

Some netizens just wished for the safety of the dedicated teacher and her students.
