KC talks about working with Piolo.
Taking a long break from the television and movie, KC Concepcion revealed on Wednesday that she will be signing a two-year exclusive contract with her mother network—ABS-CBN.
While fans are expecting to see the actress back on screen, Concepcion shared that she will be back to hosting and acting.
“Once that’s done, I’m going back to hosting and to drama also. They are just finalizing the contract with Viva so it’s going to be a wild ride. Siyempre mainstream work ko iyon, showbiz work ko,” she said.
However, she kept mum when asked if one of the projects will be a movie saying she don’t want to preempt something that is not yet confirmed.
Asked about being speculated to portray Darna in its movie-remake, Concepcion refused to comment on it but hinted that she will be doing “big things” this year.
However, she openly admitted that she is okay working with ex-boyfriend Piolo Pascual.
“Piolo and I are okay. I think that if there’s a project, we would have to talk about it and, of course, dapat pareho kaming 100% kasi ang hirap na hindi dahil unfair din naman iyon sa mga manonood. Makikita din sa camera iyon,” she said.
And when asked about working with her mother, Sharon Cuneta, Conception immediately rejected it saying she is nervous because it is too close for comfort pointing out that it could be a reality show.
“Sabi ko, ‘Ma, hindi ko kayang umarte sa harap mo.’ Sabi niya, ‘Ano ka ba, para kang loko-loko.’ Gusto ko talaga but nahihiya ako kay mama. I will learn so much from my mom, I’m sure. Pero makiki-sit in na lang ako sa mga shooting niya to learn her ways,” she said.
Concepcion is one of the remarkable actress of this generation, even an award-winning actress-singer who is also an ambassador against hunger of the United Nation’s world food program.
