Director Cathy Garcia-Molina Shares Details About Her Love Life
CATHY GARCIA-MOLINA – Blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Molina revealed some details about her love life now.
Undeniably, one of the most excellent directors that the Philippine showbiz industry has is director Cathy Garcia-Molina. The blockbuster filmmaker has done lots of films that did not fail to hook the viewers and mark the showbiz history.
Direk Cathy has worked several times with actor John Lloyd Cruz. She describes the actor as the one who can give a sincere performance. They worked together in One More Chance and A Second Chance alongside with actress Bea Alonzo.
John Lloyd Cruz also starred several movies with actress-singer Sarah Geronimo. Their A Very Special Love, You Changed My Life, and It Takes a Man and a Woman were directed by director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Previously, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina has already announced that she will soon leave the field of directing. She clarified that she is retiring as she wanted to give time to her children.
One of the last five movies that the blockbuster filmmaker will do before she retires in 2019 is the My Perfect You which is currently showing in theaters. It is starred by Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Direk Cathy has nothing but good words for Gerald and Pia. Based on a report, she saw the sincere performance that Gerald has given in the movie and she described the beauty queen-actress as not just someone who knows how to act but someone who is excellent in acting.
The filmmaker has four more movies to do before she will retire and give her time back to her children. Based on a recent report in Pep, in an interview with the source, she admitted that her decision to retire did not happen overnight.
“Medyo matagal na ‘yan… Hindi naman alam ng lahat na biyuda ako. Yung mga anak ko, nahihiya ako na hindi ko sila nakakasama. Bilang nanay, nakaka-guilty,” she said.
Based on the report, director Cathy Garcia-Molina has a boyfriend now. According to her, it just happens that her boyfriend supports her decision to leave her work. She revealed that he wants her to stay in the house as he will be the one who will work for them.
“Parang nagkita-kita yung pagkakataon. Siguro nga eto yung panahon,” she said.
Direk Cathy was asked about her marriage plan. She revealed that her boyfriend wanted to marry her but not in the Philippines. She shared that her child accepts her boyfriend and even refers to him as ‘future daddy’.
