Pops said that the sustainability of the said campaign was timely relevant following the negative changes in the environment.
“Marami tayong naririnig at nababasa regarding our environment at totoo po lahat ‘yun and again lalong lalo na sa ating mga anak, simulan na natin,” she said. “This is a great thing kasi it will really help to have an awareness which we all need, sometimes kasi we do forget it na. So doing this is a good start and a lot of organizations have also done this.“
She added that she wanted to contribute to the welfare of the environment through this campaign. “And we are all guilty with the mistakes, that’s why doing this is a good start and its a constant reminder of what we should do for our environment,” she said.
Chaye Cabal-Revilla, the chairwoman of the sustainability advocacy program of PLDT Smart Foundation, said that the company encouraged other showbiz personalities to participate in this advocacy.
“We hope to have more Filipino’s and personalities to be part of our program,” Chaye Cabal-Revilla said. “It is something that we really need to do for the people, Gabay Kalikasan’ is something we need to do for our future generation and have an impact for our future.“
