During the grand press conference of Miracle in Cell No. 7 last Friday, December 6, Aga Muhlach said that he doesn’t want to expect to have the best actor award.
“Ayokong asahan kasi, more than anything, mas masaya ako na maipakita yung pelikula namin na ginawa,” Aga Muhlach said. “Gusto ko talagang mapanood nilang lahat yung pelikula, more than anything.“
He also promised that he will celebrate if he declared as the best actor in the festival’s Gabi ng Parangal. “Magpapa-party ako!” he said.
Before the said press conference, Viva aired Miracle In Cell No. 7 to film exhibitors from different malls. Aga said that many were happy after they saw the film.
“It was really overwhelming. Kasi hindi ako nanonood ng pelikula ko, napapanood ko lang ang pelikula ko pag premiere night na. Pagkakita nila sa akin they were started clapping and congratulating me. Sabi ko, ‘Wow, parang nakakahiya naman,’” he said. “Ayokong masyadong mag-expect na ganun, masaya na ako nag-enjoy sila and they were all congratulating me and the whole cast. And siyempre, parang alam na nila, may mga haka-haka, may mga predictions silang sinabi, happy sila, eh.“
According to Aga, he was excited about the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival’s Parade of Stars just because he wanted to bring his children Atasha and Andres in order for them to experience it.
The Miracle In Cell No. 7, one of the official entries in the upcoming MMFF, will be available in cinemas starting Wednesday, December 25.
