During the contract signing of Careless Music Manila, James Reid, who was the chairman of the music label, said that he will focus more on music in 2020.
“For 2020 for sure gusto kong mag-focus muna sa music,” James Reid told ABS-CBN News. “I’ve invested a lot of time and money to Careless I want to see how far we can push it, how far we can go and how far I can take my music career.“
James officially expanded his business by signing up talented artists to work under his record label, Careless Music Manila, including Nadine Lustre, who was his real-life girlfriend.
“Since I left, I took control of Careless so I’m handling it completely kasama ‘yung team ko. We’re all friends,” he said.
Nadine Lustre also said that she has plans to focus more on the music side of her career.
“Maraming hindi nakakaalam pero sa music talaga ako nag-start. Nag-start talaga ako as a performer so iba kasi ‘yung feeling na nakukuha ko pag nagpe-perform ako onstage than acting,” Nadine said. “I want to focus on music kasi last year puro movies ako last year so ito naman ang gusto kong puntahan for 2020.“
Aside from Nadine, other artists such as rapper Massiah, singer Curtismith, trap singer Astro Kidd, and R&B singer KINGwAw (also known as Bret Jackson) also signed with Careless Music Manila.
