Max Eigenmann Wins Best Actress In 2019 Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Max Eigenmann was awarded as best actress in this year’s Asia Pacific Screen Awards for her role as Joy in the film “Verdict”.

The film “Verdict” was based on the story of a woman who was abused by an alcoholic husband Dante (role of the late actor Kristoffer King). This film was directed by Raymund Ribay Gutierrez.

In her acceptance speech, she emotionally thanked her husband, her children, and her family for believing in her capabilities. She also thanked Ricky Gallardo, director Raymund Ribay Gutierrez, and Brillante Mendoza during her speech.

Being here tonight has truly been one of the most momentous and exciting experiences of my life. Receiving this is beyond anything that I expected or imagined,” Max Eigenmann said.

She also emotionally thanked her late father, Mark Gil, during her speech. “I know is looking down on me from heaven right now, extremely proud,” she added.

Max Eigenmann was the daughter of Bing Pimentel and Mark Gil.

This film was one of the official entries during this year’s Pista ng Pelikula. The “Verdict” was awarded as Orizzonti Winner for Special Jury Prize in Venice Film Festival.
