The mother is Daljinder kaur, who is also a first time mother, saying that she’s not yet too old to become a mom.

The picture above shows Mohinder Singh Gil, 79, the husband and father of the baby, holding his son.

Daljinder Kaur also gave birth to a boy last month because of IVF treatment which took for two consecutive years of treatment.

The treatment took place at a fertility clinic at Haryana, northern state of the India.

The couple were married for fourty six years already, losing hope of having a baby, facing ridicule and mocks from fellow people.

According to their beliefs, being infertile means a curs3 from God, and that motivated them to have a baby.

Kaur told AFP, “Our prayers were heard. My life feels complete now. I am looking after the baby all by myself, I feel so full of energy. My husband is also very caring and helps me as much as he can.”

“When we saw the (IVF) advertisement, we thought we should also give it a try as I badly wanted to have a baby of my own,” Kaur said.

Thru the use of IVF, the child was conceived with the use of the couple’s egg and sperm cell.

Mohinder Singh Gill, the husband, told AFP, “people say what will happen to the child once we die. But I have full faith in God. God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he will take care of everything.”

Dr. Anurag Bishnoi, who manages the fertility clinic, told AFP, “I first tried to avoid the case because she looked very frail. Then we made her undergo all the tests and once all the results were okay we went ahead.”

This is not the first time that IVF is being treated to couples, but this method of having a baby is strongly a sin to others, that conceiving a baby should be in the natural way.

This has been an on going debate but many Christians are strongly against this, considering this as a mortal s1n.
