Beijing, China – “Way of provoking a clash with the United States,” ABS-CBN said on the report posted on their official website that China’s leadership is resisting pressure from elements within the military  for a more forceful response to the ruling of the international court against the claims of Beijing in the islands of the West Philippine Sea. After refusing to participate in overseeing the case by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague.

China condemned the firm decision of ruling of the case last July 12, 2016, that favor the Philippines and rejecting China’s claim saying that they have no legal basis to claim the islands in the West Philippine Sea. Beijing has not yet shown any signs of wanting to take any stronger action but called for a peaceful resolution and talks for defending their territory.

China’s President has already declared for the People’s Liberation Army to be ready after the ruling of the Arbitration Court. “We should go in and give them a bloody nose like Deng Xiaoping did to Vietnam in 1979,” referring to the China’s invasion of Vietnam because of forcing Beijing’s ally the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.

The Chinese military is hardened to prepare for any possible and unexpected things to happen in the conflict and the issue in the disputed island. The source described the atmosphere in the PLA as Hawkish. Liang Fang said that their military forces will step up and fight and it will never submit to any sovereign power outside the country. The hardline of policies inside the PLA is not yet clear. However, China has been no firm military actions that could possibly a cause to escalate the tension. According to diplomats that         the leadership of China was well aware of the danger that might bring by the clash.
