Defense Deal Signed By China And Malaysia To Strengthen Ties

China and Malaysia had signed a defense deal and agreed to strengthen the ties and intensify cooperation in the South China Sea.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak fly to China for a one-week official trip to close several agreements that will strengthen the relations between the two countries. A defense deal has been signed by the two countries to intensify the cooperation in the disputed waters.

The agreement between the two countries happened after the tainted relationship between Malaysia and America due to a corruption scandal. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang witnessed the signing of the 9 agreements revolving in the field of defense, business, and so on.

Defense Deal

Najib is hoping that his visit to China can improve the relation between Malaysia and China. Chinese vice foreign minister Liu Zhenmin said that the two were engaged in naval cooperation and this agreement will signal a major event in relations between the two countries.
