Kris Aquino slammed for using presidential chopper to campaign for administration bets.
The “Queen of All Media Kris Aquino” is being criticized on the social media sites for allegedly using the presidential chopper to campaign for the Liberal Party bets former DILG secretary Mar Roxas and Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo.
Official Facebook page of Dalaguete, Cebu posted some photos showing the former “Kris TV” host arriving at the Casay Airstrip using choppers with presidential seal on Tuesday. However, the photos have already been removed by the uploader.
The pictures have already gone viral just a few hours it was posted. Netizens slammed the younger Aquino for supposedly using the money of public to campaign for the administration bets.
President Ninoy Aquino recently made rounds in Visayas and Mindanao. He also went to San Carlos City, Negros Occidental for the inauguration of solar power plant.
The President also headed to Cebu to meet with local candidates to campaign for Roxas and Robredo. Kris Aquino joined him n a sortie in Argao town.
In an interview with Interaksyon, Kabataan partylist representative Terry Ridon condemned also Kris Aquino for using the public resources to advance their candidates.
“The use of public resources for the presidential campaign of Mar Roxas, including the use of AFP choppers by presidential sister Kris Aquino to campaign for Mar, is far worse than the crass remark of another presidential candidate,” he said.
Aquino is currently taking a break from the show business and is currently campaigning for the Liberal Party bets. She has yet to issue a statement regarding the supposed using of government choppers for campaigning.
