BPI PERSONAL LOAN – Here is a guide on how to apply and the list of the requirements needed in applying for Bank of the Philippine Islands’ Personal Loan.

The Bank of the Philippine Islands or more commonly called as BPI has a lot of offer to the public. Aside from the BPI Savings Account, BPI Remittance Account, and BPI Credit Card, it also offers loans.

The bank offers Personal Loan, Housing Loan, Auto Loan, and Business Loan. All these offers aim to help the people in their finances by offering loans with flexible term options and low one-time processing fee at Php 1,500.00 only.

Based on the official website of Bank of the Philippine Islands, with regards to the Personal Loan, there are general and specific BPI Personal Loan requirements for applicants.

BPI Personal Loan

The general BPI Personal Loan requirements in applying include the following:

  • Must be 21 years old and above to apply and not more than 60 years old upon loan maturity
  • Filipino Citizen
  • Working or residing within 30 kilometers from the nearest BPI branch

With regards to the specific requirements, it may vary depending on the employment status of the applicant.

Employed / Professionals:

  • Two (2) valid government-issued photo-bearing IDs
  • Proof of income documents:
    – Three (3) months original pay slips; OR
    – Latest BIR Form 2316 or ITR

Self-Employed

  • Two (2) valid government-issued photo-bearing IDs
  • Proof of income documents:
    – DTI/SEC business registration certificate
    – Three (3) years audited financial statements (FS)
    – Latest ITR Form 1700 or 1701

  12. Government office and Government-owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC) ID (e.g., Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) IDs)
  13. ID issued by the National Council on Disability Affairs
  14. Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID
  15. Company IDs issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Insurance Commission (IC)
  16. PhilHealth Health Insurance Card ng Bayan
  17. National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
  18. Police Clearance
  19. Barangay Certification
  20. Seaman’s Book
  21. Alien Certificate of Registration / Immigrant Certificate of Registration
  22. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
