Ramon Ang, the president and chief operating officer of conglomerate San Miguel Corp. (SMC), was included in the Bloomberg 50 list.

Bloomberg 50 was an elite annual list of top global innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have changed the global business setting. This list was compiled by Bloomberg Businessweek.

Bloomberg 50 also represented the most influential thought-leaders in terms of business, entertainment, politics, finance, fashion, and science and technology.

Ramon Ang was joined in the list by Jeff Zucker, Jon Stewart, Rihanna, Tobias Lutke, Emma Walmsley, Kevin Feige, Simone Biles, Doug McMillon, Kevin Mayer, Kylie Jenner, and Greta Thunberg, among others.

San Miguel Corp. (SMC) was one of the country’s largest companies in terms of revenues and profits. In 2018, SMC’s revenues breached PHP 1 trillion (equivalent to 5.9% of the country’s GDP.

Ramon Ang was also named as one of the richest tycoons in the Philippines for the year 2019 as revealed by Forbes.
