Senator Gordon Supports Duterte
Senator Gordon supports Duterte – Senator Richard “Dick” Gordon has recently expressed his support to President Rodrigo Duterte on a post and even praised the President for what he’s is doing for the country.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, Sen. Gordon recognized the current situation of the President over the current criticisms being thrown against him by the international community on his campaign against illegal drugs in the Philippines.
Senator Gordon has mentioned how the problems of the country have not been given action by the “others from the past” who just “turned a blind eye, closed their ears and downplayed the situation.” He added that Duterte was not like that.
Gordon stated that the President is facing the mentioned national problems even with his ‘loud mouth’ and that the Filipinos are supporting him.
“He is facing it with eyes wide open, sharp ears and oftentimes a ‘loud mouth.’ Yes, he can be rude. Yes, he can be inappropriate. And sometimes crass. But he has got our attention, and more importantly he has got our back.”
The Senator even mentioned that there are things that have been disregarded and just made everyone silent before on what’s happenings. But, Gordon said, that the ‘light is on’ now, revealing the real situations of the country.
“Bukas na ang ilaw. Wala ng nakakubli. Wala ng pagtataguan. At masalimuot, magulo, buhol-buhol ang gumulat sa atin. Kung kaya’t maging ang solusyon ay hindi maiiwasang magulo, hindi malinis at hindi perpekto rin.”
He also said that terr0rism is not new in the country especially in Mindanao, and just been recognized as chaotic – without no one minding it.
But, now, according to Senator Gordon, it’s different. He said that the President is facing everything “head on” and is taking action even “when it’s already too late.”
