Issue of Mar Roxas Regarding His Alleged “Edited” Photo
Presidential candidate and former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary, Mar Roxas is now the topic of conversation in various social media sites. This was because of his alleged “photoshopped” campaign photo which was posted on his official Facebook page.
The photo shows Mar Roxas campaigning in an unidentified venue was published on March 22, but it has only gone viral after the netizens commented that it was fake and photoshopped.
In the picture, Mar Roxas was seen campaigning inside a covered court full of supporters, mostly wearing yellow shirts. While it seems like a normal photo, a lot of netizens noticed that it was edited.
One netizen named Elvon Levin Domingo, who claimed to be a photographer and graphic artist, said that the image was manipulated. He said that it is unrealistic and the lightning is inconsistent.
“I’m a photographer/graphic artist and I can attest that this image is manipulated. Walang halong politko. I see giants everywhere, unrealistic and inconsistent lighting, mismatched pixels and detail sharpness, etc,” he said.
“Mar, hire a better graphic artist next time. May mga kilala ako. PM me. Hahahahahaha,” he added in jest.
Another netizen named Le Cho also said that the people in the photo have different resolution and the ground seemed inappropriate because of the height of people.
“Honestly, something’s wrong here. this is edited. look right in the middle..sana inedit ng maayos. parang hindi pantay ung ground tuloy kase yung tao sa gitna parang nakalubog. in reality, if this is a man’s eyeview this is not possible. LOL,” she wrote.
