As of press time, United States remains on the top of the tally of Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with 12 medals; China is second with eight medals, while Australia is on the third place with six medals.

Philippines on the other hand is on the 20th slot with one medal, after 20-year drought on Olympics, with Hidilyn Diaz as silver medalist on weightlifting. Rogen Ladon said goodbye to Olympic bid after losing to Yurberjen Henry Martinez of Colombia via unanimous decision (August 8 evening, Manila Time).
