Foreign Secretary Perfecto Yasay told lawmakers that China will be the loser in the dispute over the West Philippine Sea.
YASAY – The dispute with regards to the ownership of the West Philippine Sea has not yet come to an end. Philippines and China has so much more to work out on the matter.
In a recent news report in Inquirer, Perfecto Yasay, the Foreign Secretary, said to the lawmakers that China will be the loser in the dispute in case it won’t recognize the ruling of the arbitral tribunal.
At the House of Representatives, the Foreign Secretary told the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) that the government is trying to make China understand the matter.
Further, Yasay confirmed that the country will not settle with China in any deal bearing a condition away from the result released by the arbitral tribunal.
