10 Accusations Throw To Outgoing President Noynoy Aquino

President Noynoy Aquino will be outgoing from his post on June 30 as President-elect Rodrigo Duterte will have the position.

During the regime of President Noynoy Aquino, he has been exposed to different controversies and issues that really made the Filipinos voice out themselves.

Many people have believed the sitting of President Aquino would be the solution to the long-time problems in the Philippines like poverty and corruption. But, during his term, it seems that these problems were not solved yet, and some said that it became worse.

Although, Pres. Noynoy’s administration claims achievements that “can’t be topped by anyone”. According to a report on PhilStar, Pres. Noynoy said that examples like the country’s 6.2 annual average in economic growth under his administration.

He also added that “none of his predecessors” can beat what his government has done regarding achievements.

But, despite everything that President Aquino have said, Filipinos still expressed their disappointment.

PNoy’s administration has been thrown with many big issues that up until now, have not been solved or given much justice.

This is what a video uploaded on YouTube by the Liga ng Kabataang Propagandista wherein it tackled “ten big sins” that PNoy ‘allegedly’ did during his regime.

This includes the Mamasapano issue, the signing of the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) with the U.S., acts of corruption like the one regarding the funds provided the victims of super typhoon Yolanda, and others.

Martin Andanar to Hire ABS-CBN Execs as GM and News Director of PTV-4

Incoming Presidential Communications Operations (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar revealed during an exclusive interview with ANC Headstart on Friday that he would tap the exertise of a former ABS-CBN News Executive to run the state-owned TV network, PTV-4. The hiring an ABS-CBN executive to managed PTV-4 is part of Andanar’ effort to overhaul the People’s Television Network 4 (PTV-4).

The veteran news anchor and a well-know TV-5 personality Martin Andanar told Karen Davila on “ANC Headstart” that “The person that I am hiring as GM (general manager) and the person I’m hiring as the news director, in fact, comes from ABS-CBN,” he said.

Martin Andanar refused to identify the former news executive who will head PTV-4 because the executive needs to consult his family first. He was quoted as saying “Kailangan niya pang isipin e, kailangan niya pang kausapin ‘yung pamilya niya, et cetera, you know because it’s a huge, it’s a gargantuan task to run PTV News,” Andanar stated.

During the previous interviews with the media upon the announcement of Mayor Duterte that Andanar will served as his PCOO Secretary, Martin Andanar revealed that he plans to make PTV-4 to be at par with the commercial TV stations in the Philippines. He even noted that as far as he is concerned he wants PTV-4 to be like the state-owned TV station of the UK, the BBC News.

Aside from PTV-4, the government media entities under the PCOO are the Philippine Broadcasting Service, Radyo ng Bayan, the Philippine Information Agency, the Philippine News Agency, and the National Printing Office.
