Steve Harvey To Host Miss Universe 2018, Asks for Prayers
MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – American comedian Steve Harvey asked for prayers for him over him being the host of the upcoming Miss Universe 2018.
Lots of people from different races now are surely excited about the fast-approaching Miss Universe 2018. The event which will surely gather beautiful and intelligent ladies will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
On December 17, 2018, several ladies would be representing their countries and vying for the Miss Universe crown. The event is undeniably one of the most prestigious pageants in the international arena.
The previous Miss Universe pageant was held in Manila and was hosted by Steve Harvey. For the Miss Universe 2018, the American comedian will again take the stage as host. It is his fourth time to host the prestigious event.
Many will surely not forget the most-talked-about Miss Universe announcement in the history when Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia as the Miss Universe 2015.
It was the PH bet Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who won the crown and it was corrected right away.
During the Miss Universe 2017, Pia joined Steve on stage and many couldn’t help but reminisce what happened. The viewers were entertained by the exchanges of the two celebrities and how they managed to look back at it in a humorous way
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Steve Harvey expressed that the Philippines was really great and as well as Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
“Pia has always turned out to be really great for me, so I’ve had a lot of fun in the Philippines. They were really, really nice when we did the Miss Universe in the Philippines,” the American television presenter said to Dyan Castillejo.
According to the report, for the Miss Universe 2018 which Steve Harvey is about to host, the American comedian jokingly asks for prayers for him most especially during the announcement of the winner.
“I don’t care about which side to walk down! I only care about when I say, ‘And the new Miss Universe is…’ I need you all to pray for me,” he said.
Based on the report, Steve Harvey arrived in Thailand three(3) days before the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. The American comedian has yet to start with the practice but he stresses jokingly that the end part is the only thing that he has to rehearse.
