Bong Revilla Advances In Partial Result of Election 2019 Senatorial Race

BONG REVILLA – Senatorial candidate Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. moved to a higher spot in the partial and unofficial result of the Election 2019 senatorial race.

The counting of votes for the Election 2019 in the Philippines is still ongoing. Yesterday, May 13, 2019, the Filipino people cast their votes on their bets for the local and national elections.

Under the local level, there are elections for the positions of governor, vice governor, and city or municipality mayor, vice mayor, and councilors. Under the national level, elections for senators and members of the House of Representatives were held.

The Commission on Election (Comelec) has approved 63 official candidates for senators in Election 2019. But, former presidential spokesman Harry Roque withdrew his bid so a total of 62 candidates were left vying for the 12 seats in the Senate.

In the partial and unofficial Election 2019 senatorial result, the front runner is Senator Cynthia Villar and she is followed by Sen. Grace Poe in the list. Among the former senators who were included in the top 12 of the partial and unofficial result is former Sen. Bong Revilla.

During the start of the counting of votes, former Sen. Bong Revilla is one the 12th rank. Undeniably, his inclusion to the top 12 in the partial and unofficial results of Election 2019 senatorial garnered mixed reactions from the public.

There are people who are disappointed while there are those who show support to the former Senator. His “budots” dance in his campaign advertisement took the social media by storm following the release of the partial result.

Based on the live tally of ABS-CBN News, recently, former Sen. Bong Revilla moved to a higher spot in the partial and unofficial result of the Election 2019 senatorial race. He is now on rank 11 and has more than 10,000 votes ahead of Sen. Nancy Binay.

Revilla follows Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III in the partial result. The latter is around 8,000 higher of the former as of this writing.
