Rival of Vico Sotto in Pasig City Mayoralty Race to File for “Election Fraud”
VICO SOTTO – Pasig City Mayor Bobby Eusebio is set to file for alleged “election fraud” following his defeat against Vico Sotto in the mayoralty race in the city.
The Filipino populace has already voted in the Election 2019 last May 13. Both local and national elections were held nationwide and some local government units already know the winners in their area.
One of the cities and municipalities wherein the election winners were already proclaimed is the Pasig City. For the mayoralty race, the son of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes won against outgoing Mayor Bobby Eusebio.
The victory of Vico Sotto in the mayoralty race put an end to the 27-year reign of the Eusebios in Pasig City. He was only three(3) years old when the incumbent family started governing Pasig. However, even though he was already proclaimed, it seemed that his triumph would be challenged.
Based on a recent report on Pep, outgoing Pasig City Mayor Bobby Eusebio is already preparing to file for alleged “election fraud” following his defeat against Vico Sotto in the mayoralty race.
According to Mayor Eusebio, he is not accepting the result as the people know who really won.
“Alam ng tao rin kung sino ang ibinoto nila, at ito mapapatunayan natin sa pamamagitan din ng pag-file namin ng election fraud,” he said.
Furthermore, based on the report, Mayor Eusebio’s camp is not believing on the veracity of the election results due to the technical issues of the PCOS machines used during the election. The outgoing Pasig City Mayor claimed that the machines were allegedly used to cheat on the results.
