Former “Kris TV” host wore a royal blue gown by Carry Santiago for the state dinner in Malacanang Palace for France President François Hollande in February last year, according to Filipinas In Showbiz.
Davao City Mayor wore a Filipiniana gown during the inauguration of his father Rodrigo Duterte as the 16th President of the Philippines.
Photos of them wearing their respective royal blue gowns became viral on the social media sites. It has even become the subject of debate between their supporters.
According to some netizens, Sara Duterte look fabulous and elegant in the gown. Some also said that the gown of Kris Aquino fits well in her.
Sara Duterte attended the oath-taking ceremony with her siblings on June 30 at the Rizal Hall in Malacanang Palace.
Meanwhile, the actress-host welcomed her brother former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino in their family home at Times Street in Quezon City after the inauguration.
Kris Aquino took a short break from showbiz to focus on her health, family and business. She went to Hawaii and spent time with her sons, Joshua and Bimby.
Kris Aquino has yet to announce when she will be coming back to work.
